I hope all is well in KW and with you and yours. I promised I'd provide a testimonial once we were home a little settled so here you go:

We were referred to Great Events Catering by several brides on The Knot community boards. We were planning a destination wedding to Key West and had one weekend to meet with and select all of our vendors. Rachel and her team at Great Events went above and beyond in service, responsiveness, and courtesy -- and this was before they had our business! Out of the three caterers we made appointments with, Great Events was the only one who offered us a tasting, introduced us to the chef, and invited us to our venue that same weekend to see them set up for another party. They set themselves above the rest.

Rachel and I started working together almost one year before our wedding date. She was conscientious of our budget concerns and worked with me to make the party of our dreams come together. She answered my endless questions, made changes to our arrangements without hesitation, and was inventive with ideas to make a great party. She was amazing to work with!

In addition to our wedding reception, Great Events also catered our welcome reception and once again, really worked with us to make the event our own and offered creative menu ideas.

Their attention to detail is impeccable. The buffet set was so perfect for each event and Andrew and Katherine and Marco and the team really put my mind at ease.

I have to give a special shout out to Andrew -- in torrential rains before my wedding started he told me "not to worry" and I didn't have to. As my banquet manager, I knew we were in good hands with Andrew and his team.

I just wanted to thank you, Great Events Catering, Chef Andrew, Erica and Dave Gonzales the Event Director for the Hemingway House for a perfect event on Saturday night, a Wedding Celebration Dinner for our son and his wife. When I walked through the gates of the Hemingway House and saw the beautiful set-up I knew it was going to be a wonderful evening.  The tables, flowers, band and cigar roller were all arranged and positioned in the perfect place to allow for easy flow and to maximize the beautiful gardens of the Hemingway House.  For me, the attention to the atmosphere is as important as the food, which was exceptional.  The passed hors d' oeuvres were hot, delicious and beautifully presented; everything on the buffet was absolutely delicious and again, beautifully presented; and the mojitos were a huge success! I have received numerous calls from our guests commenting on what a beautiful event it was and how every item on the buffet and the appetizers were absolutely delectable. I'm trying to keep this condensed, but I can't resist....the plantains, mojo roasted pork, guacamole, paella, conch fritters, cuban antipasta, bruschetta on plantains, red curry shrimp.....needless to say, I LOVED our menu! And I tasted everything!!

Obviously, you helped make this evening very special for us and if we ever have reason to host another event in Key West or to recommend you, we will be sure to call Great Events.  Again, thank you for helping make this evening special for us, our son and his new wife and our guests.

I didn't get a chance to thank you for everything you did for the wedding. It was PERFECT! The staff was wonderful, the food was great and the flow was just right.
